This complete 3-day course covers all the topics and tasks that an Ingres Database Administrator needs to know: user management, database creation, selection of storage structures and indexes, security, integrity constraints, and backup and recovery.

This course is aimed at full or part-time Ingres DBA's, or programmers who wish to understand Ingres storage structures and database administration features.

Prerequisites:

Some exposure to Ingres (knowledge of a Terminal Monitor at minimum), and familiarity with basic relational database concepts.
